I am so so so so sorry! I can't even begin to describe how bad I feel that I've been MIA since - well, wayyyy too long. I went to Europe, worked a million hours a week, moved back to college, went to las vegas, and have been consumed with work, school, shopping and partying. That's not an excuse but I'm sorry. And I am back like I forgot something! (Lil Wayne.. haha.)

I am going to be back in fullll swing. My style has upped itself immensely - and I have always been pretty stylish ;) haha. I've still been spending a lot of money on makeup (what classy girl isn't?) but I still have a ton of money saving tips and have been learning a lot more about makeup and skin. So get pumped. xoxo

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Premiere Delayed Six Months

Awwww. :( Warner Brothers has just announced that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be delayed over eight months. The film will instead be released on July 19th, 2009. Here is an excerpt from the press release:

In making the announcement, Mr. Horn stated, “Our reasons for shifting ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers’ strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films—changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer.”

BURBANK, CA, August 14, 2008 – Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that it has moved back the release date of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” to Summer 2009. The sixth installment of the blockbuster Harry Potter franchise will now open day-and-date domestically and in the major international markets on July 17, 2009. The announcement was made by Alan Horn, President and Chief Operating Officer, Warner Bros.

In making the announcement, Mr. Horn stated, “Our reasons for shifting ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers’ strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films—changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, confirmed, “The release date change does not alter the production schedule for this or future Harry Potter films. Post-production on ‘Half-Blood Prince’ was completed on time, and the studio’s release plans for the two-part ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ will not be affected by this change. We know Harry Potter fans are eagerly anticipating seeing the final chapters unfold onscreen. In fact, the good news for them is that the gap will now be shortened between ‘Half-Blood Prince’ and the first part of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’”

Commenting on the release date change for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” David Heyman, the producer of all the Harry Potter films, offered, “When Jeff Robinov explained the rationale behind moving the release date of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ to July 2009, it was immediately apparent that this offered us the potential to reach the widest possible audience. From her nasty divorce and custody battle to her now-infamous performance at the 2007 VMAs to the dark period under the control of "manager" Sam Lutfi, it's safe to say that the last two years were not the best in the young life of Britney Spears.

And now, one year after an erratic and distracted Brit stormed out of an OK! photoshoot, a very different woman sits down to talk openly about her two adorable sons, her father and the future of her nearly sidetracked career.

Having spent her young life in the spotlight, the 26-year-old mother of two tells OK! that she hopes her boys choose not to choose a career in entertainment. "I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to," she explains. "I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.

Perhaps some of Britney's reluctance comes from seeing her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, have to face so much public scrutiny over her recent pregnancy. "I was shocked a little bit," says Brit. "She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling."

The pop superstar also tells OK! that she wants her boys to be close to her newborn niece. "I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie," she says.

In an unexpected twist, Britney's downward spiral in recent years ultimately helped to heal the bonds between the singer and her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears.

"God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good," explains Jamie, who also spoke exclusively to OK!. "If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys."

"Dear Diary

Before the downpour let me just say that my new movie, "My Best Friends Girl," is the best / funniest film I've done yet. It's got a terrific cast. Kate Hudson, Alec Baldwin, Jason Biggs, and myself really kicked the funny around. This movie showcases our talents accordingly as it expands on them. It's a fun R-rated flick. An edgy comedy with a dash of romance.

That being said, let me address the fact that although I'm not a marketing major, I have a bit of a trusted reputation after 18 years self promoting. I'd like to inform you I had no say in this marketing campaign, but if I did, things would be different since it is obvious that this poster is boring / odd and has zero to do with the movie I performed in.

Here are a few things that truly blow about my upcoming movie poster to promote the release of the film opening on September 19th:

1. Graphics:
Whoever photoshopped our poster must have done so at taser point with
3 minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations. They should have called Donnie Hoyle and had him give a tutorial using "You Suck at Photoshop" templates. This is so glossy it makes Entertainment Weekly look wooden.

2. My head:
The left side of my face seems to be melting off of my skull. I guess I am looking directly into the Ark of the Covenant? Are they going for the bells palsy thing here? My left side looks like Brittany Spears' vagina.

3. The Stare.
My character apparently has fallen in love with a strand of Kate Hudsons hair. Kate's mannequin is desperately in love with the inside of my right ear while Jason is half stunned, half corsage.

4. Lips:
It looks like I'm wearing Maybelline Water Shine Diamonds Liquid Lipstick. My characters name is now Winter Solstice and I'm a hooker with a heart of gold. Jason is my floral carrying pimp, while Kate is my first trick!

5. Fashion:
My character is sporting a very high collar I mean damn they should be snow capped at that altitude. It's going for the vampire lurking in the castle basement vibe. An Olympic pole vaulter would have a tough go clearing that collar. I'm also able to turn my head comfortably 180 degrees, because I was raised in an abandoned barn by a family of owls.

6. Flesh:
It's no secret that I'm more rugged facially due to a drunken visit by the teen acne fairy, but according to this poster I've got perfect porcelain flesh. I look like the fuckin' bathroom floor at Caesars Palace. One of Marie Osmond's dolls would look at me and say "shit … that guys got flawless skin!"

7. Hair:
It's actually a close up shot of Tom Sellecks Magnum P.I. mustache they photo-slapped on my noggin'.

8. The set:
Pick one. This entire film takes place:

A. on Gattaca
B. at the Fortress of Solitude
C. inside a crystal wind chime

9. The cast:
Alec Baldwin is so fucking funny in this movie! Is he on the poster? I think so. He plays the wise talking plant Jason is clutching.

10. Final thoughts:
I set out to make a movie like the contemporary men and women, that you and I respect, are making. My generation of comedians, actors, directors and producers that I wish to collaborate with as I build a solid body of work.

Granted, one poster stinking up the joint isn't the end of the world. Yet it sends the wrong message about our movie and I just wanted you to know, that I feel the pain. I really love the film and I know from past missteps marketing wise that the wrong poster sends the wrong audience into the theater.

DiorShow Waterproof Mascara

So I recently exchanged my Dior DiorShow Mascara in the Waterproof formula - for a non waterproof one. I have to say - that shit does NOT come off! Oh my god lol I looked ridiculous for days because unless I took a full blown shower, that mascara was going to be on my eye lashes forever.

I think I'm going to take a picture of my eyelashes while normal and while wearing the DiorShow so you can see the difference. I had a woman in Sephora ask me if I was wearing false eyelashes hahah.. it was cute. I'll probably do that soon actually. Well, have a good day! :)

I've never bought anything from American Apparel - but it's worth a shot. They have the Interlock High-Waisted Skirt for $34. I'm kinda unsure because it might be too long. In the pictures it looks long, and I'm only five foot haha so it would most likely be too long. Maybe I could hem it?

There is also this Print Cotton Spandex Jersey High-Waisted Skirt from American Apparel and it's $34. Looks like a really good option as well!

Apparently Nikki Blonsky, the star of Hairspray, was arrested along with her father today in a Caribbean airport. Nikki was released on bail, while her father stayed in jail. Apparently Nikki and her father got into an argument with Bianca Golden, of America's Next Top Model fame. Bianca's mother was hospitalized with serious injuries. Here is an excerpt from People.com

"Sgt. Calvin Chase from the Providenciales Police Department in the Turks and Caicos Islands said the fight erupted in the departure lounge of the Providenciales International Airport after everyone had gone through security. "Things got out of hand in an argument over seats in the departure lounge, and several people were involved in an altercation," Chase tells PEOPLE. "There were some injuries involved."Nikki Blonsky was charged with assault with actual bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of two years, and common assault, also known as threat of assault, with a 90-day maximum term. Her father Carl was charged with grevious bodily harm, meaning the victim was injured so severely they needed immediate medical care. The charge carries a five-year maximum sentence. Carl will remain in jail for nine days until a hearing is set on his bail, says Chase. Bianca Golden was charged with assault with actual bodily harm. A rep for Blonsky declined to comment."

This book looks so wrong on soo many levels. For some odd reason Wet Seal thinks it looks like a good book to sell. Don't get me wrong, I am occasionally fond of their trendy taste in clothes, and yes I realize that this book is probably marketed to preteen girls - but why the heck would anyone buy a book that:

A) Rips off Greg Behrendt, The Perfect Man (can you say plagiarism?)
and
B) Has the word "INSANE" in the title - while, of course, referencing you the reader.

This is what the website claims:

Just have to write a little something before I get too busy at work - I used Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet+ foundation for the first time - and wow! It has stayed on since I put it on at 3pm and it's still on looking flawless. I swear to god.. I seriously love this product. And I rarely fall completely in love with something like this! Wow.. I think it might actually beat Smashbox's Healthy FX foundation (which is my current obsession). I love how it's so smooth and long wearing..wow is the only word I can say haha. Unfortunately I bought the wrong shade (it is completely orange) but it looks sooo good otherwise. Yay! :)

In the Ojon Hydrating Kit, the styling cream is the best product (again). This kit is made for those who want thick, full hair. I don't have thin hair, I have normal hair - and this made it veryy full. I really liked the styling cream, because this one separated and gave my hair a lot of definition and fullness. It would be perfect for when you have waves or curls. It's not a smoothing cream, so your hair will be a little sticky.. hence it should definitely not be used when you are wearing your hair straight.

Overall, I like this kit a little better, the conditioner worked very well. And it reminded me of Nickelodeon's Slime..it was seriously that color haha. (Check out Harrison Ford licking the slime!) The shampoo and conditioner are not really stand out products, but they work very well. I'm pretty much done with Ojon now, haha.

A quick run down?

Restorative Hair Treatment - will never use, let alone buy, again.
Revitalizing Mist - the mist was better with the Nurturing Kit, but still not amazing.
Styling Cream - I liked both - definitely my favorite products.
Shampoo - Would buy if it was way cheaper.

Ojon.. the beginning and the end (sort of)

So yesterday, I go to the Sephora at Beachwood Place (in Beachwood, OH). While I'm in the store, I had every intention of returning the idiotic Ojon kit I bought. Before you yell at me and wonder in shock how it didn't do anything for me - let me explain myself. I was honestly disgusted by the smell of the leave in treatment. If you read my earlier post, you'll know that I actually went to work smelling like tar and burnt out cigarettes. It was so depressing. It didn't seem to do too much either.. but I didn't really give it a chance. I had it in for 8 hours.. sprinted home and washed that shit out! Hahaha.

The shampoo & conditioner were nice.. but didn't do too much. The revitalizing mist didn't do anything as far as I know of. The only thing I absolutely loved was the styling creme. I wanted to keep that with me, and return the rest of the kit! Instead, I was feeling guilty for hating Ojon so much, that I just exchanged it for the Fortifying Kit.

I still don't think it's going to make a difference, but I will test this out for a week and if it doesn't do the trick I am returning its ass to Sephora and getting my $50 back!

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment

Ugh.. I am so pissed at myself. The Dew Tour is coming to Cleveland this weekend, and some of the BMXers, skateboarders, and whoever else are staying at my hotel. My coworker is dying to see one of them, so I decided to help her out and switch shifts. Long story short, I had to get up at 5:30 today on my day off. I was feeling way too lazy to put any product in my hair, and I was starting to eye up that Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment. I scooped out a spoonful and started to comb it through my hair..making sure to steer clear of the roots since my hair can get pretty oily. I remember reading somewhere that it smelled like "stale cigarettes" and they are right on target.

I am so pissed off now because my hair smells like shit! Haha no you should seriously smell this stuff. It better work wonders because right now I am notttt a happy camper. Spoiled Pretty recentlyposted a list of books for summer reading! What a great idea. I read constantly...people at school always bitch about "hating" to read, and that's honestly idiotic. We're in college people - that means days upon days of reading! I know I won't read much while studying for tests and shit like that, but that's only because I'm so drained from constant studying. I'm definitely going to have to read some of these books.. her suggestions sound really good.

She mentioned books by Jennifer Weiner, Jane Green and Sophie Katz... three of my favorite authors! The Other Woman (above) by Jane Green is a hilarious book that I read no more than two months ago, so it looks like her list is up to date and legitimate. I recently read P.S. I love you by Cecelia Ahern, which she wrote when she was seventeen. You can sort of tell, but she definitely is a talented writer. I have yet to see the movie (with Jennifer Garner & the yummy Gerard Butler) but it's pretty common that the movie is never as good as the movie. We will have to see! :)

Wowww. I didn't even think I would be able to do a review on this product because I really didn't think it would do what it has done. The Garnier Fructis Melting Masque for overprocessed and damaged hair is PHENOMENAL. As I've mentioned before, my goal is to restore my hair to how it used to be before it was dyed, bleached, highlighted- aka ruined. I'm trying to grow it out so I can have my natural color and feel back.. and this product has definitely helped. I've been using it after almost every shower, along with my Vive conditioner (that I bought because it is pink..haha) and it has made my hair soft and frizz free. Last night I took a shower and went to bed without putting product in it, and woke up with it looking wavy, healthy & 100% natural.

The Tui Hair Smoothie is a product by Carol's Daughter, a line at Sephora. It's made for Normal to Dry Hair, but obviously anyone can use it. It's supposed to be a wonderful conditioning treatment. I definitely want to try it out. The formula consists of shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, chamomile, and the Tui blend (guava, mango, and passion fruit). It's $19 but is pretty reasonably priced for a deep conditioning treatment.

Carol's Daughter also has Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie (for $19 as well) which is pretty similar, but the ingredients consist of ylang-ylang, clary sage, bay leaf, cedarwood, patchouli, seaweed, shea butter, cocoa butter, and jojoba oil.

Sephora literally JUST released The Lash Stash and it's already sold out! Unbelievable. And of course there is no "Email me when available" button, and it's only being sold online. This kit includes seven travel-sized mascaras that includes:

Blake Lively looks so good in this silver beach tunic... but does this mean that metallics are officially back in style? While shopping I've been seeing a lot of silver and gold dresses.. but to see one that looks so casual makes me wonder if it's okay to wear metallics during the day now. People.com has a style section to get cheaper celebrity looks..and featured some really good links for different versions of the tunic!

Advantage vs. Dual Action

Recently, Clean and Clear created the Advantage line... I was hesitant to try it because I reallllly love my Dual Action Moisturizer! Thank God it's basically the same product, but this works faster and doesn't tingle. I have to say I kind of like the tingly sensation of the Dual Action Moisturizer because then I trick my mind that it's working better. The product is wonderful, I can't stress that enough! I think everyone who has problem skin or even just wants to keep their skin in perfect condition, should use a salicylic acid moisturizer. I think I like the Advantage Moisturizer better, but I prefer the tingling and smell of the Dual Action Moisturizer. I'm almost done with this bottle, that's how much I love it. It retails for less than $8 at drugstores.. but I'm sure you can find certain stores with sales on these products. It truly is a great product, especially when used twice daily!

Lancome's Absolute Replenishing Cream

I recently tried Lancome's Absolue Premium Bx Absolute Replenishing Cream. The product claims to replenish & "transform" skin with intense moisture. I only used it twice, mainly because it honestly didn't even soak into my skin. Usually you can feel a lotion or cream moisturize and hydrate your skin, but it felt like I put nothing on my face.

The product has Pro-Xylane, which restores essential moisture deep underneath the skin's surface.
It also has Bio-Network which enhances performance for "visible rejuvenation".

I never expected to see miraculous results, but I at least expected this shit to hydrate my skin, mainly because it's $115 a pop and it has REPLENISHING in its name.

On Sephora.com, there was an 8 week study done on women who tried this cream. After 4 weeks they said:

Visible Repair: Wrinkles appear reduced. 85% experience improved elasticity and firmness.
Intense Moisture: 91% feel skin is nurtured. Re-plumped with life.
Clarity: A radiant, even skin tone is revealed.

Basically? No thanks!

Murad Acne Treatment Concealer

Soo my sister bought Murad's Acne Treatment Concealer Stick. Great choice, I thought! I tried using it as much as I can, but she started hiding it from me. Hahaha. So, I have no other options than to buy my own. I'm not really sure if it even worked, because I am still breaking out? But we'll see. I mean, I have been going to sleep without washing my face at night... but only because I've been so tired! Oh well. I just ordered it offline so I'll be letting you know if it actually works. It's only $20, so not tooo expensive for a good concealer. Hey, I'll pay whatever it takes to have perfect skin!

Wow. Totally buying these! They look pretty similar to the Dior Gladiators Carrie Bradshaw wore in Sex & the City! But usually replicas are ugly as fuck... these on the other hand are gorgeous! The only downfall is that the heel isn't as high as I like it.. only 3 & 3/4 inches. But stilll.. amazing. <3

Vincent Logo's Gelli Gloss

I think I have been looking for a lot of waterproof, stay proof, and long lasting products lately. I've never tried, let alone heard of Vincent Logo before but I've been looking into getting his Gelli Gloss. It stains the lips and is water resistant.. but that makes me wonder how a gloss can stain and how a gloss can be water resistant! So I'm watching The View right now, and my favorite girl Sarah Jessica Parker is on! I can't wait to get a picture of her adorable outfit... she has on this little lilac dress with a pearl necklace & pearl earrings. Her eyeshadow matches her dress & her hair is down with loose waves, ahhh! I wish I had her hair AND her body. I'll post a picture as soon as I find one.

100th Post!

My 100th post - yay! But not a good one.. haha. I just went online shopping...spent $150 at forever21, $110 at sephora, & bought my first two pairs of Spanx ($60 total). I really shouldn't have spent that much.. but I needed a dress for my cousin's wedding. (I got a date... he's kind of annoying because he's obsessed with me, but he's good looking so that will entertain me haha). So anyway - I bought a couple dresses & will return the ones I don't want. Then I wanted some cute tops, and tank tops & necklaces. Then at sephora...well, trust me you'll see what I bought. And then the Spanx? I've always wanted them, and they're supposed to be phenomenal! Check out this part of the website. Practically every celebrity wears them and swears by them. So I bought two, a high waisted one and a normal one - both black leggings because I wear them a lot. My bank account is probably down to about $100 now, but I get paid tomorrow. It sucks working full time.. I honestly don't know why I complain about college so much. It's so much better than this shit! I love getting fat paychecks (who doesn't?) but I would muchh rather be back at school, living in my townhome with my best friends & not my nagging parents, and just studying & going out. I can't wait til August 15th. That's the day I decided I'm moving back in! We have our townhome all summer, but since my job is in downtown Cleveland, and I live in a suburb close to it - it'd be idiotic to live away at school. Waste of time & gas. But hey, I wouldn't be living with my parents! Haha. My sister is so much fun.. she honestly is the excitement I have at home. I don't know what I would do without here. My brother, who's 19, recently decided to take an apprenticeship to be an Electrician in North Carolina. He's leaving in August and will be going to school & work down there for the next two years. Kind of sucks... we're pretty close. And then my little sister will be getting her temps (temp license) in August as well! Scarrrryyy! ;) hahah kels i love you. Okay well this was a lovely ramble, I never really talk personal but hey, there it is!

P.S. I want this - I should have gotten it two weeks ago because now it's out of stock.

It's Too Faced Frozen Lotion. It's a mousse that cools you down & gives your body a nice, tan glow. It's supposed to be super moisturizing as well, so I'll probably need to use it on my feet. Have I mentioned that I have the world's most ugly feet? My toenails are thick and ugly, the bottoms of my feet are cracked and will never be soft no matter what - ughh. I hate even thinking about them! It might be from treating my feet like crap when I used to be a ballet dancer. I was pretty hardcore about it, and when I did pointe, sometimes I wouldn't wear wool or gel pads because I thought I was a badass. Hmmm lol probably wasn't too smart? Well, have a good night.. I'm going out. :)

Star Smile Teeth Whitener & Lipstick

Model Co, a brand found at Sephora, recently launched their Star Smile Teeth Whitener and Lipstick. The dual tipped wand has lipstick on one side, and teeth whitener on the other. Not too revolutionary since as I mentioned before, tarte has a very similar product. The only difference that I see is that tarte is a lipgloss and $13 cheaper. Model Co also claims that if you use the teeth whitener side four times a day, you will see noticeably whiter teeth, up to four shades, in one week. Hmmm, would you spend $39 on this?
